Heterosexual Lesbians To Protect Their Identity
How would you like to be born a Lesbian and not a homosexual. In fact many natural born Lesbians are men.
Since the 9th century BC an Island of the coast of Turkey has been known as Lesbos. The residents have been called Lesbians. Now they are seeking to have the Greek courts prevent a Homosexual group from using the term Lesbian as a reference for homosexual women members.
The term has been appropriated by homosexual women because of an ancient female poet named Sappho. Born on the island in the 6th century BC, she wrote romantic poems to other women. The city of Eressos where she was born is now the site of a women only hotel catering to female homosexual tourists. All this has caused some residents of the island to suffer embarrassment at having their identity with the island to be synonymous with female homosexuality and they wish to return the name Lesbian to its proper use.
Residents of the Greek island of Lesbos launched a legal action yesterday against a homosexual group, insisting that only islanders had the right to call themselves lesbians.
The inhabitants of the island said they were attempting to ban the Greek Gay and Lesbian Union (Olke) from bearing the name "lesbian".
Residents of Lesbos now suffer "psychological and moral rape" from the "seizure" of their island's name by gays, according to the complaint by Dimitris Lambrou, a local activist. He has set out his argument in "The Misfortune of Being Lesbian", published on his website.
It seems one can be a Lesbian trapped in the body of a man.
