Heterosexual Lesbians To Protect Their Identity

How would you like to be born a Lesbian and not a homosexual. In fact many natural born Lesbians are men.

Since the 9th century BC an Island of the coast of Turkey has been known as Lesbos. The residents have been called Lesbians. Now they are seeking to have the Greek courts prevent a Homosexual group from using the term Lesbian as a reference for homosexual women members.

The term has been appropriated by homosexual women because of an ancient female poet named Sappho. Born on the island in the 6th century BC, she wrote romantic poems to other women. The city of Eressos where she was born is now the site of a women only hotel catering to female homosexual tourists. All this has caused some residents of the island to suffer embarrassment at having their identity with the island to be synonymous with female homosexuality and they wish to return the name Lesbian to its proper use.

Residents of the Greek island of Lesbos launched a legal action yesterday against a homosexual group, insisting that only islanders had the right to call themselves lesbians.

The inhabitants of the island said they were attempting to ban the Greek Gay and Lesbian Union (Olke) from bearing the name "lesbian".

Residents of Lesbos now suffer "psychological and moral rape" from the "seizure" of their island's name by gays, according to the complaint by Dimitris Lambrou, a local activist. He has set out his argument in "The Misfortune of Being Lesbian", published on his website.

It seems one can be a Lesbian trapped in the body of a man.

People Get Ready the UN is Coming

We are all going to die. Well maybe not but the world food price problem is now going to be made worse because the UN and the World Bank are set to tackle the issue. Not that they have any understanding of the reasons and possible solutions. They just sense an easy opportunity to pick the pockets of western citizens.

First on the agenda is the plea for funds, $755 million to start. Second will be the formation of a task force so needy relatives can get a piece of the action. This will all be followed by impotent resolutions and calls for more financing of their effort to find a remedy, mainly getting the west to give them more money toward the goal of UN control of commerce.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called on the international community to provide the WFP all of the $755 million in emergency funds it needs for the crisis.

"Without full funding of these emergency requirements, we risk again the specter of widespread hunger, malnutrition, and social unrest on an unprecedented scale," Ban said.

Sadly this will result in the matter becoming completely out of control. Not only will the prices of food continue to increase but new unforeseen disasters will spin off of the very programs adopted to fix them.

The problem itself is directly attributable to the hysteria generated over Global Warming and the exploitation of that hysteria by politicians and the UN. The brilliant minds who saved us all from nuclear power plants, off shore oil rigs, domestic oil exploration and refineries decided that the need for energy would be met by bio-fuel. Unfortunately no one considered the crops that needed to be grown for bio-fuel were going to be grown on the same land as the crops for food. Nor did it enter their minds that an additional demand for crops would lead to an increase in the selling price. No surprise however that they accept no responsibility for their ill considered efforts having only made the world less prosperous.

Save the planet, close the UN.

Ameriphobia

More from my friend at POMIL. If you are not aware Obama is so full of bologna that he could open a deli than this may help clear your sinuses.

Naive young voters presumably find Barack Hussein Obama uniquely articulate and charming. Perhaps a large percent of the electorate would be happy to go to the polls in November and vote for Senator Obama, because they have only a superficial knowledge of him, and they are so fed up with other candidates and politicians they simply want a fresh face and a change. Further, what happened before those voters were born is in their view outdated and therefore of no importance. And, they may be unable to recognize anti-Americanism when they see it.

But, Barack Obama's entire life has been spent surrounded by people who dislike our Constitution, individual liberty, and the rule of law.

In his formative teenage years, age 10 to 18, in Hawaii, Barack's mentor/substitute father was Frank Marshall Davis, member of the Communist Party of the United States (CPUSA) and good friend of CPUSA member and Soviet Union apologist black singer and actor Paul Robeson. And the domestic terrorists' and Jeremiah Wright's association with Mr. Obama have been widely reported.

And currently, Senator Obama supports ethnic cleanser Raila Odinga, Muslim-backed hopeful for ascendency to leadership of Christian Kenya who promised to establish Sharia law within six months of becoming president. Odinga claims Obama is his cousin. Mr. Obama has visited Kenya and has a brother living there. Senator Obama is wildly acclaimed in Kenya for his roots there and his political prominence in the United States Government. Kenyans have renamed schools, a road, and a beer in his honor. As President of The United States, Kenyans believe, Barack Obama, like corrupt presidents in their area, would have immediate access to the national treasury, and would be quick to send funds to his father's homeland, Kenya, to end poverty.

Presumably, this is what Senator Obama had in mind when he co-sponsored S2433, the Global Poverty Act of 2007. This legislation would transfer some 845 billion US taxpayer dollars to the United Nations for distribution, ostensibly, to the world's poor. Concomitantly, this bill would tie the United States to the United Nations Millenium Declaration which calls for banning small arms and light weapons and ratification of treaties; e.g., the International Criminal Court and Kyoto treaties. This global poverty act is Marxist and anti - American.

Level-headed U.S. voters of all ages recognize that, from the day he was born through today, Barack Hussein Obama has associated himself with Communists, domestic terrorists, racists, and Sharia law anti-Christian Muslims; and his grip on any position in our federal government is an ominous threat to our security and culture. An assumption that many in our electorate share his views is chilling.

Blogger Defeats Lawyer's Subpoena

As some of you who know me personally know I have been embroiled in a lawsuit with the former managing member of Ruthless Training Concepts LLC. I have during the past two years only posted once on the issue. That post has generated a host of hits and at least two threats of legal action by people associated with her at the new company that she fled to, Team Ruthless. I plan on posting the results of the lawsuit after the final order is signed. Today I would like to highlight a legal proceeding against another blogger that those people who wish to hide from my revelations about my former colleague with similar action may find enlightening.

Blogger turns attorney, defeats trial lawyer's subpoena
by John O'Brien

PETERBOROUGH, N.H. (Legal Newsline) - When blogger and admitted information-hoarder Kathleen Seidel received a subpoena asking for nearly every piece of data associated with her website, she had two choices -- get mad or get an attorney.

Trial lawyer Clifford Shoemaker of Virginia requested in March, among other things, "documents pertaining to the setup, financing, running, research and maintaining" of her site, which frequently links to articles and features blogs pertaining to Shoemaker's main litigation area.

Not willing to dish out the dollars for defense, Seidel filed her own motion to quash the subpoena. It was granted Monday.

"I wrote that motion on a days-long surge of adrenaline and outrage," Seidel said. "I was served the subpoena on a Wednesday afternoon and began doing my homework Thursday morning. I filed the response on Monday afternoon."...

... The subpoena made 10 separate requests, and was quashed by Magistrate Judge James Muirhead. Muirhead ordered Shoemaker to show cause why he should not be sanctioned for filing a "burdensome" subpoena.

"Hallelujah! That is good news," Seidel said. "My privacy was preserved."

I suggest interested parties go to Ms. Seidel's own blog to read the details. She has posted a link to the judge's order just as I will with my own case. It is nice to see that the old proverb is true, "When you do what is right you have nothing to fear."

Fitness Plan Bearing Results.

I'm scheduled to do another powerlifting meet this Sat. I lift in the 100% RAW federation. The meet is the:
2008 VIRGINIA STATE BENCH PRESS, DEADLIFT, IRONMAN
STRICT CURL
American Legion Post #128,
636 Madison Road
Stanardsville, Virginia 22973

I don't do the curl just the Ironman which is two lifts, the Bench Press and Deadlift. I hope to hit 260 and 375 respectively.

I'm real close to having been seriously lifting for two years. At the age of 51 I feel real good. Much better than I did three years ago. At this age I've had to make some adaptations to the normal routines. The biggest change has been placing a download week in every fourth week rather than every sixth or seventh like you young men do.

After this meet I plan on going to another one at the same place under a different federation so I can do my first Powerlift meet. It is a three lift meet starting with the Squat then the Bench Press and Deadlift. If all goes well with my current training plan I may be able to challenge the VA state record for my weight and age.

Getting old is not for wimps.

Bio-Fuel and Global Hunger

Bob Marshall is not the only official that recognizes the increase of food prices is directly related to the mandate for bio-fuel. The UN of all places has been reported in the British news service the Telegraph that it will lead to world hunger.

"The reality is that people are dying already," said Jacques Diouf, of the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). "Naturally people won't be sitting dying of starvation, they will react," he said.

The UN says it takes 232kg of corn to fill a 50-litre car tank with ethanol. That is enough to feed a child for a year. Last week, the UN predicted "massacres" unless the biofuel policy is halted.

This of course is in contrast to their programs that support bio-fuel as the answer to global warming.

Likewise, combustion of fossil fuels can lead to outdoor air pollution, acidification of land and water and emissions of greenhouse gases. In all these cases, the environmental damage and its harmful effects can be reduced by increasing energy efficiency, introducing modern technologies for energy production and use, substituting cleaner fuels for polluting fuels, and introducing renewable energy.
814 World Health
Organization. 2002.
The World Health Report
2002. Geneva.

Is it any wonder that people are skeptical of the whole global warming nonsense? While Our political leaders are all stumping for ethanol while standing in the way of oil field production and refining capacity the rest of us have to suffer the unintended consequences of their ignorance.

The New York Times of all places has an article that reveals how some politicians are waking up to the problem yet lack the backbone to do anything about it.

Representative Jim McGovern, Democrat of Massachusetts, said he had come to realize that Congress made a mistake in backing biofuels, not anticipating the impact on food costs. He said Congress needed to reconsider its policy, though he acknowledged that would be difficult.

"If there was a secret vote, there is a pretty large number of people who would like to reassess what we are doing," he said.

Nit wits such as Senator Charles E. Grassley, Republican of Iowa and Ron Litterer, President of the National Corn Growers Association pass off the complaints as scapegoating despite the fact that farmers have decreased the acreage of other crops to plant additional corn acreage to take advantage of the dramatic upward move in the price for corn because of the new demand. Unlike oil, bio-fuel is subject to the real possibility of wide spread crop failure from drought and flooding.

The government has conducted the war on poverty only to see generations of families trapped in the welfare rolls. It instituted public education and millions of parents have to put their children in homeschool or privet school to ensure they get a real education. It punishes companies that move jobs overseas while letting tens of millions of foreigners to work here illegally. Now they are promising energy independence by driving the cost of everything including fuel to levels never seen before. Bob Marshall is not the only one who knows that bio-fuel is doing more harm than good but he seems to be one of the only one who holds public office that can see the damage that politics is causing the citizens.

Marshall Urges Gov. Kaine to Seek Biofuels Waiver to Help Economy

I can't agree more with the following article. I support Bob Marshall for the nomination for the Senate because he sees clearly how ill considered mandates from government has serious consequences. I didn't take a genius to know the increased production of corn would lead to lower production of other crops. Yet Congress is perplexed by the rising food prices. I do not expect the Governor or mant other legislators other than Del. Marshall have a clue either.

Del. Bob Marshall is urging Gov. Tim Kaine to petition the federal Environmental Protection Agency for a temporary biofuels waiver in order to cut rising food prices for Virginians, reduce pollution of the Chesapeake Bay, save state budget funds, and help Virginia’s farm and watermen families.

Marshall (R., Manassas), in a letter e-mailed to the governor today (April 9), said “the inflationary federal biofuels mandate,” which requires that 9 billion gallons of ethanol and other biofuels be substituted this year for other types of fuel in Virginia, “has created a food-versus-fuel conflict in our economy.”

Kaine, Marshall wrote in his letter, has authority under the federal 2005 Energy Policy Act and the 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act to seek such a temporary waiver if maintaining the biofuels mandate would “severely harm the economy or environment of a state, a region or the United States.”

“Inflationary prices of food are directly traceable to the diversion of corn from food and feed to fuel, and they affect milk, cheese, other dairy products, beef, cereal, bread and even candy prices,” Marshall, who is seeking the 2008 Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate, wrote.

“The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that food prices are at their highest level since 1990, and has doubled the average of the past 10 years. Milk and eggs have logged double-digit increases in late 2007 and early 2008, with higher prices forecast.”

Marshall noted that Virginia’s current net expenditures for the Special Supplemental Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) have “increased by $6.5 million – more than twice the rate for the previous two years” – and account for about 40 percent of the program’s vouchers reimbursing parents for the cost of buying milk and cheese. This cost, he contends in his letter, “will grow considerably faster in fiscal 2008 given current food inflation projections.”

“The cost of school lunches to Loudoun and Prince William County schools over the past two years, since the biofuels mandate has been in place, have seen high school lunch prices increase by 18 percent,” Marshall wrote. “The school breakfast program costs in Loudoun County have increased 44 percent over the same period for elementary, middle and high school.”

Marshall wrote that Virginia’s farming sector also “is struggling economically” because corn and soybeans, needed for poultry and livestock feed, is being diverted to produce biofuels.

“While food inflation soars at the retail level,” Marshall wrote, “production costs are increasing even faster at the farm level – squeezing Virginia’s livestock producers in the middle.”

Corn and soybean prices have peaked more than double their historic average, Marshall pointed out, and are projected to increase even higher. High feed costs are “decimating Virginia’s agricultural base of broilers, turkeys, eggs and dairy and beef cattle,” which he wrote “is an important economic engine in many parts of the state, including the Shenandoah Valley.”

“Overall,” Marshall wrote, “these sectors account for a more than $1.5 billion industry in Virginia, yet many producers in this sector are on the brink of financial collapse.”

Ecologically, Marshall pointed to “some evidence that the artificial economic structure created by the congressional biofuels mandate has disrupted the normal crop rotation on the Eastern Shore, leading to more nutrient runoff which is compromising water quality in the Chesapeake Bay.” This, he wrote, “can frustrate Virginia’s efforts to clean up the Bay and preserve our watermen’s livelihood and Bay food sources.”

Obama in Rural PA

If there were any doubt if Barack Obama thinks everyone is a racist nit wit then this latest statement should remove it.

But the truth is, is that, our challenge is to get people persuaded that we can make progress when there's not evidence of that in their daily lives. You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
emphasis mine

The most twisted part of his premise is the people he's talking about would not be gun toting racist religious kooks if the GOVERNMENT had put them to work and given them free health care. The truth that Obama and the rest of the Democrats and most of the Republicans who hold office don't know is the bleak economic future of places like PA are the result of GOVERNMENT.

But let me understand one thing. He lists religion and anti-trade sentiment as aspects of these people's antisocial behavior. Since he has identified himself as a church going Christian and is opposing the free trade agreement with Columbia is he also antisocial? He loves to paint people with the racist brush while he himself defends his racist pastor the Rev. Wright so it should not be surprising he thinks everyone's religion is suspect if they do not agree with him and just as Hillary is taking money through her husband from the Colombians to promote the free trade deal while she makes herself out to be against it, I suspect we will find Obama is just as duplicitous on that issue as he is on those I've mentioned.

Edit 4/12/08: I forgot he sent a spokesman up to tell the Canadian Government that they should not to take his anti-NAFTA rhetoric seriously.

To further shine light on Obama's image compared to his actions, take a look at the report at Zombietime about Obama's fund raisers in the wealthiest neighborhood in THE WORLD. His campaign loves telling you they get their money from $10-$20 from average people but there he is sucking up to the most wealthy of people in hopes of latching on to the big bucks. You guessed it. It is here that he made these comments.

Pass the Torch in San Francisco

The Olympic Torch which is traveling to cities around the world in the lead up to the games in China has become the focus of protesters concerned about the situation in Tibet. The next stop in San Francisco, Oh Boy! What better place to excite the loonies. Not that I don't sympathize with the Tibetans, I just know that every kook with an ax to grind will be in force in the one city known as kook central. In fact some nit wits have already climbed the Golden Gate Bridge to unfurl their sign.

I'll be anxiously awaiting the report from Zombietime.

Absolut's Shortest Ad Champaign

Whoever the moron was that thought the "Absolut World" ad campaign was a good idea can't hold a candle to the nit wits who approved it. It took all of three days for the company to go into panic mode and cancel the ads.

"In no way was it meant to offend or disparage, nor does it advocate an altering of borders, nor does it lend support to any anti-American sentiment, nor does it reflect immigration issues," Absolut said in a statement left on its consumer inquiry phone line....

... "As a global company, we recognize that people in different parts of the world may lend different perspectives or interpret our ads in a different way than was intended in that market, and for that we apologize."

Nor does it help to sell vodka.

The Internet world is too fast for stupidity to survive long. Ask any politician.

'Absolut World' Where California, Arizona, Belong to Mexico

Judging from the ad produced by Absolute Spirits Co. They anticipate the success of the colonization of the United States by Mexico.

It is clear from the statements of groups such as La Raza that this is the goal of those who wish to accelerate the inclusion of illegal immigrants as citizens of the US.

In 2002, a prominent Chicano activist and University of California at Riverside professor, Armando Navarro, told WND he believed secession is inevitable if demographic and social trends continue.

"If in 50 years most of our people are subordinated, powerless, exploited and impoverished, then I will say to you that there are all kinds of possibilities for movements to develop like the ones that we've witnessed in the last few years all over the world, from Yugoslavia to Chechnya," Navarro said.

"A secessionist movement is not something that you can put away and say it is never going to happen in the United States," he contended. "Time and history change." ...

... In a 1995 speech to Chicano activists, Navarro said demographic trends are leading to "a transfer of power" to the ethnic Mexican community in the Southwest. He notes that most studies show that within the next 20 to 30 years Latinos will comprise more than 50 percent of the population of California. This fact, and other cultural and social developments, are opening the door for "self-determination" and even "the idea of an Aztlan," he said in his speech.

That's what this country needs, to be turned into Yougoslavia and Chechnya. What a great future, the USA as a third world nation. If one wishes to usher in a new dark age then let Mexico colonize the US and Moslems colonize Europe and the modern world will truly be over. The really stupid part is this is what our liberal friends desire to see. So go out and buy your Absolute Vodka and toast the end of the free world.
