I used to watch TV news and yell at the box. Now I jump up from the couch, sit at the computer and begin to type laughing maniacally saying "Wait until they read this." It's more fun than squashing tadpoles

Diversity Day Canceled because of Too Much Inclusion

Viroqua High School in Viroqua, Wisc. had scheduled a Diversity Day where speakers from various backgrounds would present their viewpoints. The usual suspects were invited and every thing looked like it was ready to go when the Liberty Council presented a challenge claiming they where excluding Christian and former Homosexuals, yet had other religions and a Homosexual couple. They said the Michigan court had previously ruled that such an exclusion was improper. But when the new list of speakers was announced they had one of the previous speakers drop out.

Gregg Attleson, a teacher on the Diversity Day planning committee, told the LaCrosse paper the intent is to introduce students to minorities and people with alternative lifestyles.

Attleson said the homosexual couple scheduled to speak refused to be on the program alongside an "ex-gay" viewpoint, saying they would be uncomfortable.

That diversity thing sure is troublesome, it makes one have to expose oneself to different viewpoints. For some people that is just too much diversity.
