Once More Into the Breach: Michelle Obama, Proud American?

Michelle Obama sums up the liberal attatude toward America.

"Hope is making a comeback and, let me tell you, for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country. Not just because Barack is doing well, but I think people are hungry for change," she said during a rally in downtown Milwaukee.

"I have seen people who are hungry to be unified around some basic common issues and it has made me proud," she told supporters.

Nothing in America has impressed her until now. Nothing.

I guess since people are enthusiastic about Obama bringing socialism to America the country really matters now. This is what progressives mean when they say they they are patriotic. They are loyal to a socialist American future, not to the nation we all know and love.

Maybe her husband can salute the flag now.
