I used to watch TV news and yell at the box. Now I jump up from the couch, sit at the computer and begin to type laughing maniacally saying "Wait until they read this." It's more fun than squashing tadpoles

Conservative Books Equate to 'Sexual Harassment'

Ohio State University hosted a conference held by the Palestinian Solidarity Movement. No doubt the Jewish members of the student body were uncomfortable with their school hosting such an event, but they have to be sensitive to the statement in The Mission of The Ohio State University.

At Ohio State we celebrate and learn from our diversity and we value individualdifferences. Academic freedom is defended within an environment of civility, tolerance, and mutual respect.
Along comes reference librarian Scott Savage who recommended to students such books as "The Marketing of Evil" by David Kupelian, "The Professors" by David Horowitz, "Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis" by Bat Ye'or, and "It Takes a Family" by Sen. Rick Santorum. This behavior has earned him a sexual harrasment suit from members of the faculty. I don't know how recommending books to students caused harm to faculty members, but they're real smart people so I' sure they know how that works. Either way the whole faculty voted to support the suit.

It has reached to point that it is cliché that free speech on campus only applies to liberal speech. So overrun with nitwits are US universities that one has to wonder about the quality of education coming from these institutions. This is a big reason for the surge in enrollments in evangelical collages. Parents who want their children to actually receive an education are voting with their checkbooks. A liberal education in the true sense of the word is a valuable asset, "liberal" indoctrination can only be a liability.
