I used to watch TV news and yell at the box. Now I jump up from the couch, sit at the computer and begin to type laughing maniacally saying "Wait until they read this." It's more fun than squashing tadpoles

Day 15 Forty Day ‘Pray for Iran’ Campaign.

I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one.’ John 17:20-22

The world’s most beautiful and famous carpets are woven in Iran. Literally hundreds of thousands of little woolen or silk knots are neatly woven together to form a beautiful, unified, vibrant design that is grand and pleasing to the eye. The carpet brings not only service, but warmth to each home.

Today we want to pray for unity in the growing Iranian church, just as Jesus prayed in John 17. We want to ask the Lord that Iranian church leaders and believers will be joined together to form a beautiful, unified and vibrant church that will serve Iran and usher the warmth of God’s love to the nation.

* Pray that the Lord will clothe the church in Iran with His humility and holiness. Pray there will be forgiveness when offence is caused. Pray that the church will be purified of competition, complaints and criticism.
* Pray that the church in Iran may be brought to complete unity and that any effort by the enemy to bring division will come to nothing. Pray that the Lord’s servants will stand shoulder to shoulder together as one in worship and service unto the Father.
* Pray that the church will be vibrant, even in the face of severe persecution and opposition. Pray each follower of Christ will be filled with love for the people of Iran and be filled with passion and resolve to declare the message of the cross to every Iranian, even in the face of adversity.

Thanks again for praying.
