There is a new monument in Washington, D.C. It is a memorial to the victims of communism. We are today generating new victims to be so memorialized.

The essence of both communism and socialism is the transfer of wealth. Our government is doing that today, whether we the people like it or not.

People here in the United States and around the world are suffering because power-hungry Democrats in our Congress like Senator Christopher Dodd, Representative Barney Frank and others looking for votes pressured real estate and financial institutions to transfer ownership of houses to people who could not afford to buy. Also today, the Democrat Congress closely controls the production of wealth in the domestic oil industry. The result is a tremendous degradation of our economy and higher prices all across the board, here and abroad. These are classic examples of how socialist governments destroy themselves.

More importantly, totalitarian communism lurks on our own shores. When a plumber recently asked presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama why Obama planned to raise his taxes, leftist Obama told him it was because the plumber should spread his wealth to others. And then the plumber was punished by Obama-leaning media representatives who visited the man in his neighborhood and demanded information on his business credentials, operations and taxes. They even informed the world that the plumber had no certification to perform plumbing procedures (which at his level of activity required no certificate). - And this in support of a presidential candidate who cannot produce a certified record of his own birth to establish eligibility for candidacy.

The moment of truth is upon us. On November 4th shall we vote to preserve the Constitution or to be the United Socialist States of America?
