Village Idiot Causes Protests Against Israel

Every so often a person comes along who's selfishness is measured best by the anger and destruction unleashed into the world by their efforts to prove they are misunderstood. Haim Eliyahu Havivi, distressed at being declared an unfit parent threw firecrackers into a Church during a service unwittingly making the case for Social Service that they are correct in their assessment. Not only did he cause a serious disturbance immediately after his senseless act, but now the enemies of Israel are using his actions as an indictment of the State as a whole.

Haim Eliyahu Havivi, a Jerusalem resident and his 40-year-old Christian wife Violet, and the couple's 20-year-old daughter, who threw firecrackers in the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth Friday night, committed the crime due to economic hardships and "harassment from social welfare authorities," police announced Saturday morning.

Police assessed that the motive for the church attack was the decision by a Jerusalem social welfare agency to remove the couple's third daughter from their home because they were deemed unfit to be parents, while Havivi's daughter, Leila, admitted to police that, "the motive behind our actions was economic."

She added that her father specifically chose a church so as to shock the world and to bring attention to the family's economic distress.
