Finding Nonsense and Beating it Sensible

I used to watch TV news and yell at the box. Now I jump up from the couch, sit at the computer and begin to type laughing maniacally saying "Wait until they read this." It's more fun than squashing tadpoles

McCain and Clinton Rally Illegals

The question that I keep mulling over is "When will John McCain join Jim Jeffords and finally leave the Republican party to join with his peers Clinton, Kennedy and Schumer?" The only people who think McCain is a front runner for the nomination to run as president in the Republican party are in the MSM. What a Senator from Arizona is doing pandering to illegal immigrants is befuddling. He must be counting on getting them drivers licenses so the motor voter law will kick them into the system in time to save him from the citizens that will toss him on his butt first chance they get.

Senators John McCain (R.-Ariz.) and Hillary Clinton (D.-N.Y.), the current frontrunners for their parties' 2008 presidential nominations, joined Senators Teddy Kennedy (D.-Mass.) and Charles Schumer (D.-N.Y,) in rallying a group of illegal aliens who came to Washington, D.C., on March 8 as part of a lobbying effort funded by a foreign government to push for amnesty for illegal aliens.

McCain and Clinton both effusively greeted the illegal-alien lobbyists as if they had come to champion some great moral and constitutional cause.

"It is so heartening to see you here," said Clinton. "You are really here on behalf of what America means, America's values, America's hopes."

"You are doing what democracy is supposed to be all about, petitioning the government to right a wrong," said McCain.

Here I thought that petitioning the government was a right of citizens. Checking the Constitution I have yet to discover a provision for people here illegally to do so. One would think that exposing themselves publicly would lead to their expulsion rather than a hearing. Sending them back to apply for legal entry would be righting a wrong.

I can't end without addressing Hillary's nonsense. If illegal immigrants represent what America means, its values and hopes, than I guess America means defying the law and our values and hopes are for anarchy to rule. How can anyone take this woman seriously? I guess Jimmy Carter has no corner on the market of ignorant statements.

The Democrat party, looking to a future where the Social Security vote may become weakened, is courting what they think to be the next big vote block. Even if they can not funnel large numbers of illegals directly into the polls, the US born progeny of these folk are citizens.
The champions of abortion find themselves unable to replace themselves without recruiting from outside the country.

The democrats made their power since back in FDR's day with promising the destitute tax dollars. Well, after the Reagan revolution and years of Republican reign, nearly all the 'destitue' in America are gone.
( Unless being overweight, living in an apartment with plumbing, electricity, cable TV, and a car in the lot is destitute. )
So the Democrats need a base. Who is destitute now? Why, the way those illegals have to live, not even allowed to get full welfare benefits in SOME cases. So the Democrats, devoid of any real ideas, are hoping that the new underclass will save them.
First step, convince them that they are here because of the democrats vast charity. Then, get them on minimum wage, so that they can VOTE them raises...
