Freed Child Rapist Rapes Two Children in SC

No sooner do I post this article about Franklin County Common Pleas Judge John A. Connor giving no jail time to a child rapist, then I read this:.

Darlington County , SC authorities are looking for a convicted sex offender accused of holding two 17-year-old girls captive Monday night under a shed behind his home.

Some child rapist in South Carolina is set free by a judge after seving 9 years of a 19 year sentance. It's discovered that he's imprisoned two teenage girls in his shed so he can vent his perversity. Not like the prosecutors didn't try to keep this creep off the street.

Hinson was convicted in 1991 for second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Shortly before his release from prison in 2000, the state attorney general recommended Hinson be committed indefinitely to a Department of Mental Health facility as a sexually violent predator.

Attorney general's spokesman Trey Walker said the case against Hinson was dismissed by a judge and he was released. Hinson had registered as a sex offender as required by law.

In this case Circuit Judge Edward Cottingham claimed the prosecution did not demonstrate that Hinson was capable of committing a sexual offense in the future. Maybe , just maybe this judge might will wonder how he made such a poor judgment.

Meanwhile the legislature in Ohio, where Pleas Judge John A. Connor is only giving out probation for child rape, are moving to utilize a law that allows a 2/3 vote to remove state judges from the bench. How frustrating it is to see judges turning these beasts out onto the community when prosecutors are asking them to keep them segregated from society. My belief is we should put them all on an island they cannot escape from and just let them live out their lives doing to each other what they would otherwise do to our children.
